Hello! It's been a while since my last blog and this wasn't intentional, I've just been busy and to be honest, I couldn't face blogging. I've blogged a bit more about what I've been up to from a work point of view over on https://owain.codes if you are interested.
Some of you will remember this site used to be called ScottishRunner.blog - well, I decided that since I am doing far less running now, it would make sense to rebrand a bit. I've changed my instagram handle and deleted my ScottishRunner twitter account. The deletion of my twitter account was more down to the amount of spam I was getting on my feed more than anything but I also felt I wasn't really enjoying that social platform any more so I removed myself from it.
This site will now be more about me, Owain. I will post more personal blogs, maybe some stuff about my own mental health, more about my visits to the bouldering gym and also my regular visits to Synergy Group Fitness sessions.
Running has almost fallen completely out of my life for now. I do maybe 5k once a week but that's only if I feel like it.
My week tends to look a bit like this now :
Monday - Synergy Group Fitness session (Cardio/high rep weights)
Tuesday - Synergy Group Fitness session (Cardio/high rep weights)
Wednesday - Bouldering at The Climbing Hangar
Thursday - Synergy Strength (heavy weights, lower rep count)
Friday - Bouldering at The Climbing Hangar
Saturday - Synergy Group Fitness (Cardio/high rep weights)
Sunday - Rest.
So yes, I might not be running but I'm doing a lot of other stuff to fill my time and stay active and I'm loving it. I'll post more about the Synergy Sessions in another blog and also my bouldering.
